Mrs. Rubinstein

This is my first year at Lincoln Middle School.  I began my teaching career as an elementary school teacher in Long Beach, California, and later I worked as a school psychologist in the same district. After a 14 year hiatus to raise my children, I returned to teaching and joined the SMMUSD faculty at Franklin Elementary School.  After a long and fulfilling morning with my students here at Lincoln, I make my way over to Franklin where I continue to work in the afternoons.

 

My husband of 31 years and I have three "adult" children who are all alumni of Lincoln Middle School.  In my spare time I enjoy reading and taking my Staffordshire Terrier, Bailey on long walks (since she clearly needs the exercise).  My husband and I both moved to California from the East Coast many years ago, and love to travel back to visit family and friends.
